- Some of the selected tehsils include Bhakkar, Sialkot, Chiniot, Kamalia, and other areas where students struggle with daily travel.
Phase 2 (February 2025)
- Additional buses will be provided to more women’s colleges in Nowshera Virkan, Taxila, Raiwind, and Sarai Alamgir.
Phase 3 (March-April 2025)
- The final phase will see the distribution of 32 extra coaches to 35 tehsils, including Allama Iqbal Town Lahore, Isa Khel, and other remote regions.
- This phase will ensure that every female student in Punjab has equal access to safe and reliable college transport.

Future Plans: Air-Conditioned Buses & Expansion
During the inauguration, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif also inspected the newly provided buses and discussed future plans. The government is considering introducing air-conditioned buses for women’s colleges, ensuring greater comfort, especially during Punjab’s extreme summers.
